3D printing is an advanced rapid prototyping technology, which is widely used in different industries. Taking into account the different shapes of each tooth, the traditional manual production process is time-consuming and laborious, and the relevant technology has been introduced in the early years of the Modern Dental Group (3600.HK).

More than ten years ago, modern dentistry has used CAD/CAM (computer aided Design and Manufacturing) to improve the design of mosaics, and CNC (Digital Control production) to make semi-automatic 3D printing, auxiliary design and direct production of dentures, invisible orthodontics and so on.

Dentists quickly obtain accurate 3D tooth images of patients through oral scanners, and then print out dental molds, crowns, denture bases, stents and invisible orthodontics directly through 3D printing technology. In addition to shortening the production cycle and speeding up the delivery capacity of orders, it can also effectively reduce the error of production.
