Recently, CIMC Enric's subsidiary, Nantong CIMC Pacific Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (“CIMC Pacific Offshore”) successfully delivered the world's largest 20,000 square metre LNG carrier in Zhoushan, Zhejiang to the British Avenir LNG company using a “cloud delivery” method.

Avenir LNG is a joint venture between Stolt-Nielsen, the world's largest chemical shipping company, and Hoegh LNG and Golar LNG, two giants in the LNG sector. It focuses on small-scale LNG transportation and LNG fuel filling business.
The 20,000 cubic meter LNG transport and filling vessel delivered this time is currently the largest LNG tanker in the world. The main cargo tank is a C-type double flap tank. The total length of the ship is 159.9 meters, and the width is 24 meters. It has characteristics such as safety, low evaporation rate, and environmental protection. It is a technological sublimation of the LNG carrier. It can not only transport LNG, but also fill other ships and terminals with LNG.

The ship uses evaporated gas from LNG cargo as the main fuel, has an excellent design of various parameters and meets the latest global emission standards; various configurations have been optimized to enhance the ship's maneuverability and improve the flexibility and safety of LNG filling operations, meet the requirements of the classification symbol COMF (V-3), and obtained the classification symbol VR for steam recovery by the classification society. The ship was designed and built by CIMC Pacific Offshore Engineering. The liquid tank and liquid cargo system were designed and built by CIMC Pacific Offshore, and the hull part was collaborated by Zhoushan Changhong International Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
According to data from the China Shipbuilding Group Economic Research Center, the world signed 143 new liquefied gas carriers and 7.78 million dwt from January to September, an increase of 22.0% over the previous yearLNG has broad prospects and great potential as a clean and efficient marine fuel in terms of marine fuel, and LNG fueling vessels are an important gripper supporting the development of the LNG fueling infrastructure market.
As an important future development direction in the LNG field, LNG transport and filling vessels are one of CIMC Pacific Offshore's key products. Currently, CIMC Pacific Offshore also has 7,500 cubic meter, 8,200 cubic meter, 20,000 cubic meter LNG carriers under construction.The ship is also the third complete ship delivered by CIMC Pacific Offshore this year.
