JD and Tencent launch the third round of strategic cooperation to further expand and deepen cooperation in consumption, technology, and supply chain
Recently, JD Group and Tencent renewed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the two sides will develop business cooperation in the fields of physical e-commerce portals, cloud technology and cloud services, membership systems, online meetings, corporate services, smart retail, and advertising to continuously enhance the convenient, fast, and high-quality consumer experience for existing and potential JD and Tencent users.
On the basis of continuing good cooperation in the past, in line with changes in the external environment and adapting to industry trends, the two sides have further expanded and deepened specific areas of cooperation and strengthened cooperation in the fields of technological innovation and supply chain services.
In terms of technical cooperation,Based on their respective advantages, the two sides will deepen collaboration, strengthen technical exchanges and cooperation in artificial intelligence and other fields, jointly build joint technical solutions with a leading position in the world, and jointly enhance future-oriented technological innovation leadership. The two sides are also planning to establish joint technical laboratories in fields such as information security to explore more directions for technical cooperation.
In terms of supply chain services,As a technology and service enterprise based on the supply chain, JD will give full play to its supply chain advantages and provide services in edge computing, digital intelligent procurement, industrial interconnection, supply chain finance, intelligent logistics, and C2M product innovation. At the same time, JD will also participate in the “Thousand Sails Project” with its superior technical capabilities to help China's “digital-reality integration” process.
In addition to the content covered by the strategic cooperation agreement, the two sides also agreed to seek more opportunities for in-depth strategic cooperation in a wider range of fields in the future.
