High-beta AAOI vs. stable MRVL; AMD shows short-term strength in CPUs

$Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI.US)$1. AAOI had been consolidating in the $130–$135 range for nearly two weeks before finally breaking out on heavy volume. If you are looking for a more aggressive play within the optical transceiver sector, I believe AAOI is worth watching at this stage. Consider entering at $145–$150. If a pullback occurs later, a second entry could be considered at $115–$120, allowing for a phased accumulation strategy.
If you find AAOI too volatile but remain bullish on optical transceivers, I suggest keeping an eye on MRVL.
2. $Marvell Technology (MRVL.US)$ MRVL can be considered around $220. MRVL's advantage lies not in short-term explosiveness but in stability. Additionally, MRVL has deep business ties with NVIDIA. An initial position can still be taken around $220, with a second entry if it adjusts to the $185–$190 range in the future.

Finally, let's take a look at CPU-related stocks,
3 $Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ Last Friday, AMD finally saw a significant price increase accompanied by heavy volume. I believe AMD is showing signs of short-term strengthening. If AMD continues to rally toward the $530 level after today's open, consider taking some profits off the table. The next target is $580. For those who completely missed the CPU sector rally, AMD actually offers a relatively aggressive opportunity for phased entries. The area around $500 can still serve as an initial entry point for AMD. If the stock price undergoes further correction due to Middle East tensions or other macroeconomic factors, we can then look for a second opportunity to lower our average cost based on the market environment at that time. The upside target remains locked at $580.
