Robots are being widely deployed—have automakers unlocked a second growth curve?
Hello everyone, Weekly Report Issue No. 67.
Key highlights this week:
1. FF officially received notification this Friday confirming it has regained compliance with the minimum bid price requirement for continued listing;
2. FF’s EAI robot, 'Built in USA,' has achieved two key technological breakthroughs;
3. Two 'Built in USA' supply chain partner recruitment conferences will be held on August 26 and September 28, respectively;
4. Q2 earnings call scheduled for August 13;
5. Sub-initiative focused on locking in the lowest conversion price for existing notes and accelerating debt restructuring to restore capital value.
Let’s start with the good news on listing compliance.
On August 7, U.S. time, Faraday Future (FF) officially received notification from Nasdaq that the company has regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) regarding the minimum bid price requirement for continued listing, and the related compliance matter has been formally closed. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to maintain listing compliance and represents a key achievement in its recent capital markets initiatives. It further solidifies FF’s foundation for sustained development in the U.S. capital markets, facilitates the onboarding of strategic investors, and will accelerate the execution of its next-phase capital strategy, business growth, and shareholder value restoration.
At the same time, we fully recognize the challenges posed to shareholder value by stock price volatility during this process. Protecting shareholder interests and long-term value remains one of our highest priorities. Regaining Nasdaq compliance is not an endpoint but a new starting point. Building on last week’s launch of the capital restructuring sub-initiative, the company will continue advancing capital structure optimization and strategic capital transformation—driving gradual capital value recovery through continuous fundamental improvements, optimized capital structure, and long-term value creation.
Next, we introduce FF’s technological breakthroughs in robotics.
First, FF’s self-developed Universal Beyond-Visual-Range Teleoperation and Multi-Robot Swarm Control Platform version 1.0 has launched and will now begin formal deployment.
Addressing the pain points that single-robot applications are still immature and complex tasks continue to require human-robot collaboration, this technology achieves critical breakthroughs in two core capabilities: beyond-visual-range teleoperation and heterogeneous multi-robot swarm control.
Beyond-visual-range teleoperation enables operators to remotely control robots to perform hazardous, difficult, or otherwise unsuitable tasks in complex environments such as factories, with progressive upgrades toward full robot autonomy and continuously reduced human intervention.
Heterogeneous multi-robot swarm control supports compatibility across robots of different physical forms, enabling unified scheduling and coordinated control when multiple robots of varying types execute diverse tasks—delivering a universal swarm control solution for sectors including education, industrial automation, security, and inspection.
This platform represents another major breakthrough for FF in industry productivity solutions, following the completion of the first phase of 'Built in USA' and significant progress in educational ecosystem solutions. It also marks a substantial advancement along FF’s 'One Brain, Multiple Forms; Multiple Forms, Multiple Capabilities' technical roadmap, delivering significant value to its four core industry ecosystems and their associated solutions. We will provide a detailed overview in next week’s weekly report.
The second technological advancement is that FF’s EAI Robotics Security & Inspection Solution has completed several practical upgrades:
1. Achieved large-scale autonomous navigation, anomaly event classification, personnel identification, and real-time alerting;
2. Continuous optimization of mobile control and real-time voice interaction;
3. The RoboFoundry cloud platform now supports LeRobot 3.0 and enables remote upgrades, enhancing operational efficiency.
These practical benefits will gradually expand into more industry applications, including logistics sorting, industrial automation, education, and beyond.
Next, we announce two upcoming 'Built in USA' partner recruitment events for the upstream and downstream supply chain: On August 26, we will host a dedicated session for downstream ecosystem partners under the 'Four-Core Full Intelligence' initiative, featuring EAI’s educational ecosystem milestones and a nationwide replication showcase, bringing together downstream customers and channel resources. On September 28, we will hold an upstream partner event focused on domestic U.S. manufacturing, core computing power, critical components, certification, compliance, and other key industry collaborators, accelerating the integration of the full value chain—from supply chain development to market sales—to drive the 'Built in USA' acceleration plan and enable large-scale deployment of the 'Four-Core Full Intelligence' robotics ecosystem across the United States.
Capital and Financial Updates:
1. The company will hold its Q2 earnings call at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time on August 13 (7:00 a.m. Beijing Time on August 14). Management will provide investors with a detailed overview of second-quarter business operations, performance metrics, and financial results, share interim achievements from the 'Five Major Transformations,' and offer forward-looking guidance on execution plans and performance expectations for the robotics business. FFAI shareholders and investors are warmly invited to join the call.
2. This week, FFAI has fully launched the sub-campaign for capital value restoration of its 'Four-Core Full Intelligence' robotics initiative. Key measures include: setting a minimum conversion price of $5 per share for all existing convertible notes, subject to applicable laws and contractual obligations, with the majority of these conversions having been legally executed recently; accelerating debt resolution; and committing that proceeds from future financings will be primarily allocated to advancing the robotics business. Further details will be shared during next week’s earnings call.
We are confident that through sustained fundamental improvements and ongoing transformation initiatives, FFAI’s capital valuation will soon reflect its true intrinsic value.
Thank you all, and see you next week.
