On June 22, autonomous driving company Pony AI $Pony AI (PONY.US)$ announced that its jointly operated autonomous mobility service in Singapore with ComfortDelGro Group has officially been integrated into Zig, ComfortDelGro’s local ride-hailing platform, and is now fully open for public bookings. This marks the transition of their autonomous operations in the Punggol area from an initial invitation-only pilot phase to a publicly accessible service, further advancing their dual-engine strategy of 'China plus overseas' expansion.

Zig is a local ride-hailing platform launched by Singaporean transportation giant ComfortDelGro, catering to diverse needs across the island such as short-distance commuting and inter-district travel. With autonomous vehicles now fully integrated into the Zig app, they will become further embedded in the daily lives of local residents, helping accumulate valuable experience for the commercial operation of autonomous mobility services.
Singapore residents can book autonomous vehicles through the 'Autonomous Driving Zone' within the Zig app. Once a booking is confirmed, passengers will ride in operational vehicles equipped with Pony AI’s autonomous driving technology. The service covers key locations including Punggol Coast Mall, Punggol Coast MRT Station, One Punggol Integrated Community Hub, Oasis Terrace, and Punggol Plaza, enabling seamless transfers to MRT and bus stops and offering residents a new mobility option for traveling from residential areas to commercial centers and essential amenities.

This public launch builds upon extensive pilot testing. In April this year, both parties provided trial services to invited passengers in the Punggol community, continuously refining the user experience based on feedback and laying a solid foundation for the official public rollout.

$PONY-W (02026.HK)$ Pony AI co-founder and CEO Peng Jun stated: "We sincerely thank the regulatory authorities, ComfortDelGro Group, and the local community for their trust and support. Pony AI will continuously refine our service through real-world operations, remaining steadfastly committed to delivering safe, reliable, and convenient autonomous mobility experiences to the public, thereby helping enhance the existing public transportation system."
Chung Siah Kian, Managing Director and Group CEO of ComfortDelGro Corporation, said: 'Autonomous mobility is no longer a distant vision—it is gradually becoming part of our operations. From our successful Robotaxi pilot in Guangzhou to today’s public launch in Punggol, we are continuously integrating cutting-edge technology, infrastructure, and operational expertise to deploy autonomous mobility services safely and at scale.'

This year, Pony AI has continued advancing its dual-engine growth strategy of 'China + overseas.' While deepening its presence in the four first-tier cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, it has expanded into Hangzhou and Changsha, two new first-tier cities. Simultaneously, Pony AI has accelerated its expansion in overseas markets across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, achieving significant milestones: in April, it launched driverless testing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; in the same month, it partnered with Verne and Uber to launch Europe's first commercial Robotaxi service in Croatia; and in May, it began testing its seventh-generation Robotaxi in Luxembourg in collaboration with Bolt and Stellantis.
Driven by growing user demand, expanding service coverage, and improved operational efficiency, Pony AI is rapidly scaling up its Robotaxi fleet, aiming to deploy over 3,500 Robotaxis globally across more than 20 cities by the end of this year.
