Agora Inc. Q1 2026 Earnings Report: Revenue growth continues to accelerate, with six consecutive quarters of GAAP profitability

On May 27, Beijing time, Agora, Inc. (NASDAQ: API), the parent company of Agora, announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026. The report showed that Agora, Inc. generated total revenue of $37.75 million in the first quarter, an increase of 13.5% year-over-year. The company provided second-quarter revenue guidance in the range of $39 million to $40 million, representing year-over-year growth of 13.7% to 16.6%.

Under U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Agora, Inc. reported net income of $1.11 million in the first quarter, with a net profit margin of 2.9%, up 172% year-over-year. Following its return to year-over-year profitability in Q4 2024, the company has now achieved GAAP profitability for six consecutive quarters. Zhao Bin, Founder and CEO of Agora, Inc., stated, 'We are pleased to announce that this quarter, our revenue growth rate has further accelerated, and we have achieved GAAP profitability for the sixth consecutive quarter.'

Agora co-developed the AI companion hardware Fuzozo with RoboCare, providing a conversational AI development kit and full-stack technical support. By the end of 2025, shipments exceeded 120,000 units, securing the top spot in industry sales. For Clawstage’s embodied AI terminal, Agora supplies the conversational AI engine, serving as the core of the real-time interaction layer that bridges large language models with hardware execution to deliver out-of-the-box interaction capabilities for home IoT hubs. For Xipet’s ‘Cat Chief’ product, Agora provides a general-purpose IPC solution that uses AI-powered visual analysis to monitor feline toilet behavior, creating a household pet health monitoring entry point while continuously optimizing vertical capabilities like poor-network resilience and on-device AI loading.

On April 7, Agora and NetEase Zhiqi—the one-stop enterprise services provider under NetEase—officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
