Meitu's global paying user base exceeded 17.9 million in Q1 2026, hitting a new record high with a year-on-year growth of 30.2%.

As of March 2026,$MEITU (01357.HK)$ The number of paying subscribers grew by 30.2% year-on-year to over 17.9 million, setting another record high; revenue from imaging and design products, mainly driven by paid subscriptions, reached 852 million yuan, up 34.3% year-on-year; other businesses remained stable overall.

The company disclosed for the first time its annual recurring revenue (ARR) metric for AI productivity applications. As of March 2026, ARR for AI productivity applications was approximately 580 million yuan, up 56.2% year-on-year.

The number of paid subscribers for productivity applications increased by 52.9% year-over-year.

In the first quarter of 2026, revenue from imaging and design products was comprised of 82% from lifestyle application income, representing a 35.5% increase year-over-year, while productivity application income accounted for approximately 18%, growing by 45.4% year-over-year. Meanwhile, the number of paid subscribers for productivity applications grew by 52.9% year-over-year to reach 2.34 million.

Additionally, productivity applications continue to innovate. RoboNeo has launched Agent Teams, which assigns multiple AI agent roles to provide end-to-end solutions in scenarios such as AI short dramas, self-media creation, and e-commerce content production, serving individual creators, small teams, and 'one-person companies'.

Meitu Design Studio has consecutively introduced new AI features such as Expert Mode Agent, one-sentence replication of e-commerce promotional videos, and overnight batch hosting mode, all integrated into the OpenClaw ecosystem via Skills.

KaiPai continues to enhance marketing conversion through creative approaches like AI-powered marketing short dramas. Its 'Video Diary' template quickly became a viral hit across the web after its launch, significantly boosting product downloads.

AI computing power consumption for KaiPai and RoboNeo increased by more than 300% in terms of expenditure.

Meitu is actively expanding its business model beyond the paid subscription approach, allowing users to flexibly purchase additional AI computing power points based on usage needs or buy specific functions individually.

In March 2026, the total expenditure on AI computing power points for imaging and design products (calculated based on actual user consumption) increased by 59% compared to December 2025. Productivity applications drove the main growth, with KaiPai increasing by 360%, RoboNeo by 316%, Meitu Design Studio by 107%, and Vmake by 78%. This growth was driven by deeper integration of AI Agent capabilities into the products, resulting in a continuous rise in overall demand and usage.
