The upcoming new season of the Pharma.AI webinar series, set to launch in 2026,will continue to focus on the core driving forces and key issues behind the AI revolution in the life sciences field, including: why biology, chemistry, and translational medical research still rely on specialized models amid the rapid development of foundational models; how Pharma.AI integrates foundational models with scientific AI agents to create a unified AI workflow, thereby empowering drug discovery and scientific innovation; and how Insilico Medicine’s groundbreaking 'AI training AI' approach helps foundational models adapt better to scientific research and drug discovery tasks, driving the continuous evolution of AI decision-making systems.
Specifically, this event will highlight new capabilities within the Pharma.AI ecosystem, including the release and application of Science MMAI Gym, functional upgrades to core modules such as PandaOmics, Generative Biologics, and Chemistry42, as well as the critical role foundational models play in scientific discovery. In addition, the seminar will also introduce how Insilico Medicine is further expanding the application scenarios of Pharma.AI technology among research teams and enterprise users through new collaborations and partnerships.
Dr. Alex Aliper, President of Insilico Medicine, stated: 'Entering 2026, our goal is no longer limited to simple AI-driven solutions but to build a true AI decision-making ecosystem. With the continuous development of Pharma.AI, we are laying the foundation for a super-intelligent system in the pharmaceutical field, enabling AI to perform more effective reasoning, adapt to real-world research workflows, and bring profound impacts to drug discovery. The upcoming webinar will showcase a series of exciting new developments aimed at providing researchers with the latest tools and best practices to address the most challenging problems in human health.'
Highlights Preview:
Science MMAI Gym: Efficient optimization of foundational model expertise performance
Science MMAI Gymis a foundational model training framework launched by Insilico Medicine in January 2026. This framework is based on over 1,000 drug discovery benchmark tasks and approximately 120 billion tokens of pharmaceutical industry data, significantly enhancing the performance of foundational models in biotechnology and pharmaceutical-specific scenarios through multi-task fine-tuning and reinforcement learning.
Internal pilot studies show that the trained foundational models achievedPerformance improvement of up to 10 times, far surpassing the subpar performance of general foundational models in approximately 75-95% of drug discovery tasks. Additionally, in March 2026,Insilico Medicine and Liquid AI reached the first partnership for MMAI Gym, while simultaneously releasing the trained foundational model LFM2-2.6B-MMAI (v0.2.1). Despite being lightweight and supporting local deployment, this model has achieved industry-leading (SOTA) performance across multiple selected key tasks. The related paper has been accepted and presented at ICLR 2026, detailing the model training process and task test results.
In the upcoming webinar, the audience will have the opportunity to learn how supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and reinforcement fine-tuning (RFT) training and benchmarking can significantly enhance causal large language models' capabilities in real-world drug discovery tasks, as well as how to join the MMAI Gym training framework.
PandaOmics: Agent-driven and single-cell datasets
PandaOmics is an AI-driven target and biomarker discovery platform launched by Insilico Medicine, analyzing large-scale multi-omics and biomedical data tohelp researchers identify, screen, and prioritize drug targets associated with specific diseases. The latest upgrade of PandaOmics to be showcased includes a more comprehensive single-cell dataset for more precise target identification, along withthe addition of PandaClaw, an AI agent tool that enables scientists to perform complex analyses and generate research hypotheses through a simple natural language interface.
Chemistry42: Introduction of multi-target capabilities with ongoing optimization of applications
Chemistry42 is an AI platform by Insilico Medicine aimed at the design and discovery of novel small molecules. The platform integrates over 40 validated generative models and advanced physical methods, helping researchers efficiently design and optimize innovative compounds. One of the platform's core sub-engines, Nach01, is an AI model trained on billions of data points. It has the ability to understand both natural language and chemical language, supports hundreds of specialized tasks, and drives the future path of 'prompt-to-drug' development.
This webinar will announce multiple updates to Chemistry42, including the introduction of iterative functions for multi-target molecule generation; upgrading molecular generation result visualization features to improve user experience; demonstrating the deep application of Nach01 in molecular generation processes; and showcasing enhanced Alchemistry capabilities in free energy binding calculations.
Generative Biologics: 72-hour Innovative Peptide Generation Race
Generative Biologics is a cutting-edge biologics engineering platform under Biology42, focusing on the design and optimization of antibodies, peptides, and other biopharmaceuticals. Using advanced multi-parameter optimization methods, it addresses complex biomolecular engineering challenges. Generative Biologics combines more than 10 generative and predictive models, along with high-precision physical computation tools, enablingthe rapid generation of biomolecules with high novelty and diversity, effectively targeting undruggable proteins and specific epitopes, with the potential to generate promising protein binders within 24 hours.
This webinar will unveil optimizations by Generative Biologics in cyclic peptide generation workflows and overall biologic drug design. Additionally, the team will focus on sharing a case study of peptide design targeting GLP-1R: Using this platform, researchers generated over 5,000 novel peptide structures from scratch within 72 hours and ultimately identified three highly promising candidate molecules with activity reaching single-digit nanomolar levels.
End-to-end Pharma.AI platformCovering the entire drug discovery and development process, this platform establishes a unified AI-driven workflow that integrates target discovery, generative chemistry, biologic drug design, and clinical predictive modeling to provide systematic support for pharmaceutical R&D.
We look forward to meeting you at Insilico Medicine's first Pharma.AI quarterly release event in 2026, where we will embark on a new year of exploration together.
