Deepening the legendary game category layout, CMGE and Tianqiong Interactive have reached a long-term strategic cooperation

On March 29, CMGE announced its fiscal year 2025 earnings report. According to the announcement, CMGE has entered into a strategic partnership with Hangzhou Tianqiong Interactive Network Technology Co., Ltd., acquiring licensing rights for the two classic IPs 'Miracle Legend' and 'Legend World.' Both parties will jointly establish a joint venture to further integrate resources and collaborate on efforts to continue exploring the legendary gaming market and expand business growth opportunities. Tianqiong Interactive and Shengqu Games reached a significant cooperation agreement in 2025 regarding intellectual property rights for the online games 'Miracle Legend' and 'Legend World.' Tianqiong Interactive will exclusively hold various rights related to derivative games, IP protection, derivative products, virtual goods, and film and television products for the two IPs 'Miracle Legend' and 'Legend World' within mainland China (excluding PC games).

As a leading global IP game operator, CMGE took an early position in the legendary game category. In 2014, it launched 'Decisive Battle of the Sand City,' which achieved a monthly revenue of over 20 million. In 2016, it released 'Decisive Battle of the Sand City H5,' which quickly surpassed 30 million in revenue shortly after launch, setting a new benchmark for H5 games at the time. In May 2018, CMGE fully acquired Beijing Wenmai Interactive, further strengthening its self-developed capabilities in the legendary game category, and launched 'Thunder Domination of the Legend World' in early 2019, achieving an impressive peak monthly revenue of 200 million. Besides 'Thunder Domination,' CMGE also successfully launched several other strong PK-style legendary games such as 'Blood Feast Legend,' 'Fever War Song,' 'Dragon Slaying Chronicle,' 'Siege Reinforcement Edition,' and 'Fever War Song - Creation' with revenues exceeding 100 million each.

Following the establishment of the long-term strategic partnership between CMGE and Tianqiong Interactive, CMGE has become one of the full-link partners for publishing and developing legendary game categories. Leveraging their respective core advantages in game development, publishing, and operation, both parties will continuously push forward the research and release of multiple new legendary titles, jointly building a high-quality, long-term lineup of legendary games.

The first legendary product based on the collaboration, 'Moon Palace Legend,' a nine-class super transformation mobile game, will officially launch soon, bringing a brand-new gaming experience to legendary players. Both parties also plan to release another legendary game titled 'Star Legend' in the first half of 2026. Meanwhile, 'Dark Night Legend,' a new game in the legendary genre self-developed by CMGE’s subsidiary Beijing Wenmai Interactive, has already undergone multiple rounds of testing and is set for release this year after fine-tuning optimizations, potentially continuing the success of its predecessor, 'Thunder Domination of the Legend World.'
