Agora's Parent Company Reports Q4 and Full-Year 2025 Earnings: Revenue Grows 10.7%, Five Consecutive Quarters of GAAP Profitability

On March 3rd, Beijing time, Agora, Inc. (NASDAQ: API), the parent company of Shengwang, announced its Q4 and full-year financial report for 2025. The report showed that in the fourth quarter, Agora, Inc. achieved total revenue of $38.16 million, a year-on-year increase of 10.7%. For the whole year, the total revenue was $141 million, an increase of 5.9% year on year (or 11.4% excluding the discontinued low-margin business). The company's guidance for Q1 2026 is between $36 million and $37 million, representing a year-on-year growth of 8.1%-11.1%.
Under the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the United States, Agora, Inc.'s net profit for the full year was 9.53 million US dollars, with a net profit margin of 6.8%. The net profit for the fourth quarter was 4.92 million US dollars, with a net profit margin of 12.9%. Following the turnaround to profitability in Q4 2024 compared to the same period last year, the company has achieved GAAP profitability for five consecutive quarters. Regarding this, Zhao Bin, founder and CEO of Agora, Inc., stated, "We are pleased to announce that the company has achieved profitability under the US GAAP for the fifth consecutive quarter, marking our first full-year profitability since 2018, mainly due to sustained double-digit revenue growth. Meanwhile, our Conversational AI Engine product is being rapidly adopted, achieving more than double the quarterly usage since its launch in March 2025. In January this year, the conversational AI solution we introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) for enabling intelligent robots received an enthusiastic response, with leading visual and motion control capabilities particularly standing out. In terms of cash reserves, as of December 31, 2025, Agora, Inc.'s cash, cash equivalents, bank deposits, and bank wealth management products amounted to $375 million.
