Among blue-chip stocks, only 18 out of 88 components declined, with a total turnover of approximately HKD 106.5 billion, accounting for about 41.75% of the total market turnover.

Innovent Bio (1801) $INNOVENT BIO (01801.HK)$ announced a global strategic partnership with Eli Lilly and Co ( $Eli Lilly and Co (LLY.US)$ ), jointly advancing the global development of innovative drugs in oncology and immunology. The group is eligible to receive milestone payments totaling up to USD 8.5 billion for research and development, regulatory, and commercial milestones, as well as an upfront payment of USD 350 million. The Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation recently announced adjustments to the scope of VAT categories for telecommunications services, with VAT rates for some telecom services set to increase from 6% to 9%. This is expected to impact the revenue and profits of the three major telecom operators. Telecom stocks fell again against the market trend today. Due to its powerful coding capabilities and deep optimization for agent workflows, it quickly gained attention in the developer community and became a sensation in overseas forums. Insurance stocks in mainland China performed well, with data showing that in January, about 79 life insurance companies collectively achieved new single premium scale of 212.6 billion yuan through bank assurance channels, a year-on-year increase of 27.6%. China Life Insurance $CHINA LIFE (02628.HK)$ established Huizhi Yangtze River Delta Private Equity Fund in Shanghai, with a total investment of 5.05 billion yuan, rising 1.34 yuan or 3.98% for the day, closing at 35.04 yuan; Ping An ( $PING AN (02318.HK)$ ) rose 3.4 yuan or 4.89%, closing at 73 yuan; China Pacific Insurance ( $CPIC (02601.HK)$ ) rose 1.2 yuan or 3.11%, closing at 39.74 yuan.

The optical communication concept led the gains as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the 'Notice on Carrying Out the Construction of National Computing Power Interconnection Nodes,' focusing on building computing power interconnection nodes for national hub nodes, major strategic regions, and key industries, to construct a national computing power interconnection node system. Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable ( $YOFC (06869.HK)$ rose 13.9 yuan or 15.31%, closing at 104.7 HKD; Foxlink Precision rose 0.67 yuan or 14.11%, closing at 5.42 HKD; Gather Tech ( $TIME INTERCON (01729.HK)$ ) rose 1.54 yuan or 9.41%, closing at 17.9 yuan.

Pop Mart ( $POP MART (09992.HK)$ ) announced Labubu's annual sales exceeded 100 million units, with overall IP product sales exceeding 400 million units, rising 14 yuan or 5.76% for the day, closing at 257.2 yuan, accumulating a gain of approximately 15.03% over six consecutive days. In the new consumer stock sector, Lao Shop Gold $LAOPU GOLD (06181.HK)$ Rose by 46 yuan or 6.35%, closing at 770.5 yuan; Brucke ( $BLOKS (00325.HK)$ ) rose by 3.5 yuan or 5.05%, closing at 72.8 yuan.

ByteDance's text-to-video model Seedance 2.0 gained popularity after its release, while its competitor Kuaishou ( $KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK)$ ) fell today by 1.95 yuan or 2.74%, closing at 69.3 yuan, marking the seventh consecutive day of decline with a cumulative drop of approximately 16.46%. It was also recently warned and fined 120 million RMB by the Beijing Internet Information Office for recent live broadcasts containing large amounts of pornographic and vulgar content.
