DRIVE Hyperion is powered by two NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor system-on-chip units based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, delivering over 2,000 FP4 TFLOPS of computing power – roughly equivalent to performing 1,000 INT8 TOPS operations per second, providing real-time computing power for full 360-degree sensor data fusion.
"In the future, all movable devices will eventually achieve autonomous driving, and DRIVE Hyperion is a key enabler of this transformation," said Ali Kani, Vice President of NVIDIA's automotive business. "By integrating computing, sensors, and safety features into an open platform, we are committed to advancing the entire industry—from automakers to autonomous driving software ecosystems—toward achieving scalable autonomous driving with higher reliability and greater trust required for mass mobility."
Hesai ETX is an industry-leading automotive-grade ultra-long-range LiDAR, designed specifically for L3 and L4 autonomous driving applications. Built on Hesai’s fourth-generation chip platform, ETX achieves high resolution and ultra-long-distance detection capabilities within a slim and compact structure, allowing flexible and seamless integration either on the roof or behind the windshield.
This milestone in the collaboration builds upon the long-term partnership between Hesai and NVIDIA that began in 2019, further solidifying Hesai's position as a trusted ecosystem partner. Hesai remains dedicated to providing high-performance automotive-grade LiDAR solutions to meet the industry's most stringent demands for safety, reliability, and integration.
Currently, Hesai is working hand-in-hand with global automakers to accelerate the market entry of next-generation autonomous driving technologies, driven by a shared vision of safer, smarter, and more accessible mobility.
