Shaanxi CIMC, a subsidiary of CIMC Vehicles, was awarded the “Green Factory” in Shaanxi Province
On August 23, 2023, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the fourth batch of green manufacturing lists in Shaanxi Province. CIMC Vehicle (Shaanxi) Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter: Shaanxi CIMC) was rated as a provincial “green factory”, and CIMC Vehicles (301039.SZ/1839.HK) added another provincial “green factory”.
As a “lighthouse” factory for special vehicles owned by CIMC, since its establishment on March 30, 2021, Shaanxi CIMC has always adhered to the environmental protection concept of “safety, health, and green management”. The product design is lightweight, the production process is energy-saving, and the vehicle operation is intelligent, and has played a good demonstration role in building a high-end manufacturing system and leading the green development of the industry.
As an enterprise with a strong sense of social responsibility, CIMC Vehicle has always actively implemented the green concept and aims to develop together with economic and environmental benefits. Currently, it has built 23 “lighthouse” factories at home and abroad. The company already has 4 national green factories: Dongguan Special Vehicle, Zhumadian Huajun Vehicle, Xi'an CIMC, Ruijiang Tanker; 3 provincial green factories: Yangzhou Tonghua, Gansu CIMC, and Shaanxi CIMC; 2 national green supply chain demonstration enterprises: Ruijiang Tanker and Zhumadian Huajun Vehicle.
In the future, CIMC will continue to implement low-carbon and green manufacturing, comprehensively promote high-end manufacturing, continuously promote the use, upgrade and update of environmental protection equipment, actively promote new energy, intelligent and lightweight green products, help the green and low-carbon transformation of transportation, lead the green development of the industry, and contribute to the high-quality development of countries and regions.
