According to reports, at present, the official website of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Talent Service Window has launched a recruitment portal, and the “Discover” channel of the recruitment app “Discover” will also open a “Hong Kong” section in the near future. This cooperation will open up a new “green channel” for talent flow between the Mainland and Hong Kong, accelerate talent exchanges and cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and further promote the two-way talent flow between Hong Kong and the Mainland.
  The relevant person in charge of recruitment said, “In recent years, while introducing high-level talents to Hong Kong for employment through a series of talent attraction programs such as talents, talents, and professionals, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government has also continued to pass the 'Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Program' to send high-quality young talents from Hong Kong to the mainland. This is highly compatible with the original intention of Hiring to help the Mainland and Hong Kong to move high-quality talents in both directions. Based on this, the two sides have reached this cooperation. As an important bridge between the mainland and international markets, Hong Kong is an outpost connecting the mainland and the international community. This cooperation will also play an important role in the exchange of talents at home and abroad, and become a new window for global talent interconnection.”
  Currently, the construction of the Greater Bay Area, including Hong Kong, is in a critical period of high-quality development, and the demand for high-quality talents is strong. However, this time, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's talent service window chose to reach cooperation with recruitment. On the one hand, it is based on the fact that recruitment has always positioned middle and high-end talent recruitment since its launch. This coincides with Hong Kong's talent demand. Overall, after more than ten years of deep cultivation, we currently have over 90 million high-quality talents for recruitment. Among these job-seeking users, talents with a master's degree and degree account for a total of nearly 80%. Among the new college student users in the first quarter of this year, the number of new student users from 985 and 211 institutions increased by more than 65% year on year. The top 20 institutions for recruiting new students in 2022 covered 14 well-known domestic 985 & 211 institutions and 1 overseas university. Among them, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Zhejiang University were among the nine universities that attracted the most attention in mainland Hong Kong. In addition, youthfulness is also a major characteristic of the platform's talent hunting, with the platform accounting for more than half of the talent under 30.
  Second, Hong Kong has always attached particular importance to financial, accounting, telecommunications, and technical talents; such talents are also an excellent resource for recruitment. Among the more than 100 second-level functions in the distribution of talent hunters, finance/audit/taxation ranked first. The Internet, professional technical services, and machinery/equipment rank in the top three in more than 100 second-level industries where talent hunting is distributed. On the recruitment platform, high-tech talents and new jobs in strategic emerging industries, including AIGC, new energy, new materials, etc., have been showing a strong growth trend. The continued rise of high-quality talents will play a positive role in the accurate matching of high-quality enterprises and high-quality talents in Hong Kong and the Mainland.
  Furthermore, based on the Silicon Valley experience, headhunters have played an important role in promoting the flow of global high-end talent. At this year's 4th Innovation Hong Kong International Carnival, peer recruitment invited more than 40 companies, including BYD, JD, and Zhijiang Laboratory, to participate in the event. On the day of the event, 10% of companies received over 300 resumes in a single day, and some companies received thousands of resumes. Furthermore, in May of this year, the Secretary for Labour and Welfare of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Sun Yuhan, and his entourage also visited the headquarters of Tongdao Hunting Group to learn about the operation and system construction of a human resources service platform modeled after the Hunting Group, and discussed Hong Kong's talent promotion policy with Dai Kebin, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Tongdao Hunting Group, and discussed new trends in talent development.
  Industry insiders pointed out that in the context of the current era, the vast market for recruiting middle and high-end talents has attracted much attention. In particular, with the discontinuation of LinkedIn's workplace in the Chinese market, recruitment and recruitment will further meet the recruitment and employment needs of middle and high-end talents. The current recruitment cooperation with the talent service window of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government will better connect the exchange and cooperation of talents from the Mainland and Hong Kong, and further promote the two-way flow of high-level talents.
