(“Construction Property” or “Company”, and its affiliates, collectively referred to as “Group”; share number: 832), announced in April 2002, construction property acquisition The total value of property contracts sold was RMB26.30, a decrease of 18.0% year-on-year; the building area under contract sales amounted to 374,242 square meters, a decrease of 11.5% year-on-year. The average selling price per square meter in April 2002 was RMB7,026, down 7.3% year-on-year.
 
For the four months ended 30 April 2002, the Group achieved total property contract sales of RMB88.97, a decrease of 36.3% year-on-year; the total contract sales area was 1,166,549 square meters, a decrease of 35.7% year-on-year. The average selling price per square metre for the first month of April 2002 was RMB 7,626, down 0.9% year-on-year.
