Beijing Energy International and its partners negotiated cooperation with the Inner Mongolia Xilingol League League Committee and Administration

Wang Sanshi, member of the Ximeng League Committee and Secretary General; Hu Chengdong, Deputy League Chairman; Liu Changchun; Duolun County Party Secretary Wang Yangong; Development and Reform Commission Director Gao Haijun; Energy Bureau Director Bao Yanmei; Jingneng International Vice President Jia Geng, Office Director Liu Pengfei, Assistant General Manager of the Northern Branch; Cao Yaling, Deputy Chief Engineer of North China Electric Power Design Institute, and other relevant personnel attended the discussion.

At the meeting, participants reached a consensus on speeding up the construction of a large-scale green energy base in Ximeng, and had in-depth exchanges and discussions on matters such as project land use, delivery routes, planning approval, and industrial implementation.

Zhang Ping thanked the Ximeng League Committee and Administration for their strong support to Jingneng Group and Jingneng International over a long period of time, and introduced the planning ideas and construction progress of the Jingneng International Ximeng Green Energy Base. He said that Inner Mongolia is an important clean energy base in the country and an important fulcrum of Jingneng's international industrial strategy. Ximeng has remarkable resource endowments and location advantages, and is the best region for large-scale development of renewable energy and transmission of electricity to the North China grid. As long-term strategic partners, Jingneng International, Shengke Energy, AP, and North China Electric Power Design Institute have formed an industrial alliance to organically combine Ximeng's green advantages, location advantages, and resource advantages with Beijing's market advantages and the professional, capital, and technical advantages of several parties to continue to accelerate the planning and development of the base. We hope that the Ximeng Committee and Administration will continue to provide continuous support. Jingneng International is confident and determined to develop and build a national green energy industry demonstration base to continue to expand the influence of Mengjing's cooperation and all-round coordination for the economic development and new energy industry of Ximeng Development contributes to helping the country achieve its “dual carbon” goal as soon as possible.

Li Bing introduced the basic situation and development plans of Sembcorp Energy. He said that as a Singapore-listed company, Sembcorp Energy is committed to supporting China's energy transformation and sustainable development, and has extensive investment and operation experience. Jingneng International is a trustworthy partner and is very willing to join forces with Jingneng International and AP to fully promote the development and construction of the base and jointly contribute to the economic and social development of the Ximeng region.

Hu Jing introduced AP's basic situation, development history, and future development plans. She said that AP has a globally experienced application team and advanced air separation technology and hydrogen production technology to meet the diverse needs of industry customers. After preliminary research and analysis, we are very confident that we will form a business investment consortium with Jingneng International and Shengke Energy to jointly promote the rapid implementation of the hydrogen and ammonia production business at the base.

Yang Chunfa introduced the development ideas and business position of the North China Electric Power Design Institute. He said that Jingneng Group has always been a long-term strategic partner of the North China Electric Power Design Institute. The Ximeng Green Energy Base project has been listed by Jingneng Group as the most important cooperative project of the North China Electric Power Design Institute. In the future, it will continue to use its advantages in system planning and new energy planning to provide comprehensive and high-quality technical support and services for the project.

Mo Yongbo welcomed the arrival of Zhang Ping and his entourage, thanked Jingneng International and other companies for their long-term support for Ximeng, and explained the energy development and industrial layout of Ximeng. He pointed out that Ximeng has implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee, focused on the strategic positioning of “two barriers,” “two bases,” and “one bridgehead”, seizing major historical opportunities for carbon neutrality, giving full play to Ximeng's location advantages, resource advantages, and industrial infrastructure advantages, and making every effort to expand and strengthen the new energy industry. Inner Mongolia and Beijing have always been cooperative and friendly regions. The Beijing Municipal Government has poured a large amount of financial, material, and manpower into helping Inner Mongolia win the fight against poverty, and has forged a deep friendship with each other.
