Ehang and Eastern General Aviation reached a partnership to explore the urban air transportation operation model under the integration of airspace in Shenzhen.

Guangzhou, China, September 15, 2021 - EHang Intelligent, a leading global technology company in intelligent autonomous aerial vehicles (AAVs) (Nasdaq: EH), announced today its strategic partnership with Eastern General Aviation (referred to as 'Eastern General Aviation' below).$EHang (EH.US)$Eastern General Aviation is a major low-altitude general aviation operator and helicopter service provider in the South China Greater Bay Area of China. It is also recognized by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the Shenzhen Municipal Government as a pilot unit for low-altitude reform in China.This groundbreaking partnership will explore and further implement the urban air mobility (UAM) operation mode of helicopters and AAVs in designated integrated airspace in Shenzhen, China. This is an important milestone for EHang Intelligent in advancing the 'Air Traffic Hundred Routes Plan' in the South China Greater Bay Area.
In response to the 'National Comprehensive Steric Transport Network Plan Outline' issued by the State Council of China in February 2021,Ehang cooperates with Dongbu Aviation in the South China Greater Bay Area to pioneer the city's air traffic integration airspace operation pilot project. This in-depth collaboration aims to build a comprehensive strategic partnership, utilizing innovative autonomous aerial vehicles and operational modes in the aviation field, such as developing a low-altitude urban air traffic management system, and exploring specific urban air traffic use cases, including airborne emergency rescue for ground traffic and airborne logistics transportation over highway networks.

At the Dongbu Aviation Shenzhen Helicopter Base, the two parties jointly demonstrated the Dongbu Aviation Bell 206 helicopter and the Ehang 216 manned autonomous aerial vehicle flying together, showcasing actual urban air traffic operations in the integrated airspace. In addition, the two Ehang 216 aircraft demonstrated the safe simultaneous flight of two aircraft in a shared airspace.
