What useful features you must know when trading on Futubull?
Do friends who trade Hong Kong stocks during the day and then trade US stocks at night feel that they don't have enough energy and are too tired to keep an eye on the market?
Well, a conditional list can help you solve problems such as these.
1. Full upgrade of the condition list
Recently, in the Futu Securities trading system, conditional order transactions have been fully upgraded to meet investors' diverse order requirements.
The main upgrade points are:
1. Cancellation conditions list. You can view all orders directly in today's order and transaction history.

2. Add tracking stop-loss limit orders and tracking stop-loss market price orders: Proportional settings are supported. For example, you can set a market price drop of more than 10% to automatically submit a limit order or market price order.

3. New order types: stop-loss limit order, stop-loss market order, touch limit order (take profit), touch limit order (take profit). mooer can directly choose and place an order according to their take-profit or stop-loss needs.

4. Hong Kong stocks support setting a stop-loss market price order and a market price order (take-profit). For example, you can set Tencent to drop to 550 and automatically submit a market order to buy.

2. What are the differences before and after the upgrade?
After the upgrade, due to some differences from the previous operation, some friends may not be comfortable. Here are the main differences.
One of the differences, the entry to the conditional list is more obvious
In the trading interface, upgrade to the latest version of Futubull Niu. See the left and right images for details. At the same time, you can directly select what kind of condition order to place an order quickly.

Also, some friends may not be familiar with the meaning of each conditional list type. Here are the relevant instructions:
Note 1: Corresponding instructions for new and old orders

Note 2: A description of the specific order type after the upgrade. You can click here to view details:

Difference 2It weakens the concept of conditions. After submission, it is considered that an order is submitted. Placing an order requires setting relevant order attributes.

Note: futures are only valid for the time being, and we will support them valid until the order is withdrawn as soon as possible.
Hong Kong futures orders valid for the day: daily market orders; orders are withdrawn if no transactions are completed at the end of the afternoon session. Night market orders are withdrawn if the night market closes before the night market closes.
US futures same-day valid orders: Valid for 1 trading day, and the order is withdrawn if the transaction is not completed.
3. How to use take-profit orders and stop-loss orders
1. About stop-loss limit orders and stop-loss market price orders
Applicable scenarios: Any scenario where you need to buy at a high price or sell at a low price; (you can open and close a position)
SCENE 1: Used for low stop loss
Xiaoming holds 200 shares of Tesla. Tesla's current market price is 590. If Tesla falls to 560, he hopes to quickly clear the position and stop loss.
=> He can set a stop-loss market price order with a trigger price of 560. When the stock price falls to 560, the system automatically submits a sell market order.
SCENE 2: Used to chase higher and open positions
The current price of Tencent is 590, and Xiaoming predicts that the stock price will continue to rise after breaking through 595.
=> He can set a stop-loss limit order with a trigger price of 595, with a limit price of 595.5. When the stock price rises to 595, the system automatically submits a limit order with a price of 595.5.
2. About touching limit orders (take profit) and touching market orders (take profit)
Applicable scenarios: Any scenario where you need to buy at a low price or sell at a high price; (you can open and close a position)
SCENE 1: Used to take profits at high levels
Xiaohua holds the first hand of Meituan. The current market price of Meituan is 290. Xiaohua expects a decline after Meituan rises to 310.
=> She can set a market price order (take profit) with a trigger price of 310. When the stock price rises to 310, the system automatically submits a market order to settle the profit.
SCENE 2: Used to add positions at a low level
Xiaohua wants to buy Tencent. The current market price is 590. I hope to wait until Tencent drops to 550 before entering the market.
=> She can set a trigger price limit order (take profit) with a trigger price of 550, with a limit of 551. When the stock price falls to 550, the system automatically submits a limit order with a price of 551.
IV. Frequently Asked Questions

Anyone that requires a “buy high sell low” operation can use a stop loss order
Anyone requiring a “buy low sell high” operation can use a take-profit order.
(Note: The above comparison is a comparison between the order trigger price and the market price at the time the order was placed)
2. Do take-profit stop-loss orders support pre- and post-market trading?
Yes, take-profit and stop-loss limit orders in the US stock market support pre- and post-market triggering. However, US stocks often have low liquidity and large price fluctuations before and after the market, which can easily cause slippage, leading to unexpected triggers of failure to trade.
3. What is the difference between a stop-loss tracking order and a stop-loss order?
The stop-loss trigger price of the stop-loss order is set directly by the user, and the stop-loss price of the tracking stop-loss order changes dynamically according to market price fluctuations;
Stop-loss tracking only supports closing positions, and stop-loss orders support opening and closing positions;
Stop-loss tracking supports proportional stop-loss, and positions can be closed by setting a rise or fall rate.
