    Evergrande sold assets again in its "circle of friends", this time Tencent, an old friend, took over!
    On the evening of August 1st, Hengteng Network announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that China Evergrande sold a total of 11% equity in Hengteng Network for 3.25 billion Hong Kong dollars.
    Just over a month ago, China Evergrande transferred 0.739 billion shares of Hengteng Network for 4.433 billion Hong Kong dollars, and the acquirer was Ke Liming, the actual controller of Ruyi Yingshi acquired last year.
    Tencent acquires 7% stake
    Once again becomes the second largest shareholder.
    According to the announcement, Tencent acquired 7% of Hengteng Network's shares at a price of HK$3.20 per share, with a total consideration of 2.068 billion Hong Kong dollars; another independent third party buyer acquired 4% of Hengteng Network's shares at a price of HK$3.20 per share, with a transaction consideration of 1.182 billion Hong Kong dollars.
    The total transaction consideration for the two transactions is 3.25 billion Hong Kong dollars.
    After the transactions are completed, Tencent and the independent third party buyer will respectively hold approximately 23.90% and 4% of the issued share capital of Hengteng. Meanwhile, Evergrande will still hold 26.55% of the shares.
    The announcement also pointed out that in order to support the development of evergrande's business, evergrande agreed to provide an unsecured interest-free shareholder loan of approximately 2.07 billion Hong Kong dollars for a five-year term.
    On June 22, evergrande transferred 0.739 billion shares of Hengteng Network to Ruyi Films and Pumpkin Films founder Koliming at a price of 6 Hong Kong dollars per share, accounting for 8% of the total share capital, realizing 4.433 billion Hong Kong dollars in cash. After the transaction, Evergrande's shareholding of 37.55% became the largest shareholder, while Koliming's shareholding increased to 20.5%, surpassing QQ Music's shareholding to become the second largest shareholder of Hengteng Network...
    Evergrande sells assets again! Tencent took over 7% and once again became the second largest shareholder.
