    1. Definition of Hong Kong stocks: Refers to stocks listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

    3. Types of stocks: Blue chip, state-owned enterprise stocks, red chip stocks
    A. Blue chip stocks: Blue chips, which are constituent stocks of the Hang Seng Index. The general characteristics of these stocks are industry representation, high liquidity, good financial condition, stable profitability, and regular dividend payouts.
    B. State-owned enterprise stocks: Refers to Chinese mainland state-owned enterprises approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission for listing in Hong Kong. They are also known as H-shares, which means state-owned enterprise stocks listed in Hong Kong.
    C. Red chip stocks: Refers to companies listed in Hong Kong but directly controlled or holding more than 35% of the shares by mainland Chinese companies.
    4. Security code: Consists of five digits (e.g., 00001 Shanghai Industrial), GEM codes start with 8.
    5. Hong Kong trading days: Trading takes place from Monday to Friday, with trading halted on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays (Hong Kong holidays).
