At the event, AMD CEO Lisa Su stated that the AI accelerator market is expected to reach $1.4 trillion by 2030, the global data center CPU market will grow to $220 billion, and the overall global computing market will hit $2 trillion. Additionally, AMD officially launched its first rack-scale AI system, Helios. Lisa Su noted that Helios has entered full production and will begin shipping soon. CNBC analysis pointed out that a year ago, Lisa Su forecast the AI accelerator market would reach $500 billion by 2028. According to her latest projection, by the end of this decade, that figure will be roughly equivalent to the size of today’s entire semiconductor market.
