Trailing Stop Order
The stock price surged then pulled back, automatically selling out! Placed an order to sell at a high point,Trailing stop order: Also known as a moving stop loss, it dynamically monitors the price based on the 'trailing amount / percentage', which helps lock in profits or limit drawdowns.
Trailing stop market orderAfter the stop-loss price is triggered, it converts to a market order for stop-loss or chasing upward trends. Note that the execution price is not guaranteed, especially in fast-moving markets where opportunities may be missed.
Taking today's 5/15 new stock $ROBOTPHOENIX (06871.HK)$ As an example, given the overwhelming subscription multiples by retail investors, it's predictable that everyone who gets allotted shares will likely sell right at the opening to lock in profits.
