Amazon has officially declared competition against NVIDIA and Google! On December 2 EST, Amazon released its next-generation AI chip, Trainium3, which became available for supply starting this Tuesday. Amazon claims that this chip is cheaper and more efficient than NVIDIA’s GPUs but lacks a corresponding software ecosystem. The AI chip war has escalated once again.
