On April 19, the NN Circle research team set off again to explore Nio's advanced manufacturing base in Hefei, where the 100,000th mass-produced Nio vehicle recently rolled off the production line. During this trip, the NN Circle team went deep into Nio’s production workshop to witness the car-making process firsthand and had a face-to-face exchange with the General Manager of Nio’s Anhui region.
Led by Nio staff, fellow investors visited the production line of Nio cars up close, gaining an in-depth understanding of processes such as stamping, bodywork, painting, final assembly, and inspection.
Inside the production workshop, fellow investors personally experienced Nio's full aluminum chassis and body frame. They held aluminum and steel models to truly feel the weight difference and intuitively realized that aluminum bodies are much lighter than traditional steel ones.
After touring the factory, fellow investors visited the Hefei Nio House and had an in-depth discussion with Yu Dongming, General Manager of Nio’s Anhui region. Through Mr. Yu’s introduction, they gained a deeper understanding of the status of Nio’s advanced manufacturing base in Hefei, its battery swap model, and Nio’s user system. Fellow investors also took this rare opportunity to ask questions they cared about and learned more first-hand information about Nio.
