Guangzhou, China, February 18, 2021.A global leader in smart autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV) technology enterprises.$EHang (EH.US)$Announced the progress of the preparation of the new production base for autonomous aerial vehicles in Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, China. The transformation of the existing plant is close to completion and is planned to start production in the second quarter of 2021.

Ehang's Yunfu production base has a total planned area of 24,000 square meters, which will be the new production line for Ehang's smart autonomous aerial vehicles, equipped with computer numerical control machining centers, spray booths, carbon fiber composite material processing workshops, and other multi-functional zones. In addition, the Yunfu production base will include a research and development training center and an outdoor flight test airport.

After production, the Yunfu production base will mainly undertake the production of Ehang's flagship product, the EH216 series of manned autonomous aerial vehicles, with an initial annual production capacity estimated at 600 units, with the ability to further expand production capacity to meet the increasing global market demand. The company expects that the Yunfu production base will become the first large-scale production base for commercial autonomous aerial vehicles.
